Reflected Reflections
An interactiveinstallation that explores the spatiality of shop window displays and reflections (with J Pletts).
Shop windows contain a collection of products that are orchestrated to entice viewers portraying just part of a space, bisected by the glass of the window.
This installation consists of a wall sized print of a shop window and interior on to which are projected digitized reflections of the visitors themselves in a street scene (similar to reflections on the surface of glass) and ghostly video of people intermittently rearranging the furniture inside the photographed space.
[Exhibited at the Plymouth Arts Centre, UK, as part of Catalogue, an exhibition mounted in response to Architecture Week, 2002].
